So we’ve mentioned these bad boys before, but an excellent way to jump right into the Spring spirit is with a great nail color. And what better way to try out a new shade than spending just three bucks on one of many Maybelline Colorshow nail lacquers?

Spring is really the perfect season to be adventurous with the color you choose to paint those paws and to be honest, you can kinda get away with almost any color under the sun…literally.

Feel femme and frilly with Born With It’s ballerina pink sweetness or dabble in vibrant tangerine with Orange Fix’s neon sex sass appeal. You have about 8 million other options so we suggest you go ahead and take that winter oxblood off your nails and pop some Spring on those puppies. Here are a few of our favs from Maybelline’s Colorshow collection.

Formula: The polish goes on smooth and easy without the dreaded tackiness of old polishes, but it is a thin formula. So for just three bucks you’ll certainly have to add an extra coat… or two. With lighter colors allow for a solid 3-4 coats to get an opaque finish.

Colors: Color is definitely the best part of this line up of lacquers. From snow white to lime green to bubblegum pink to sky blue, Maybelline Colorshow polishes come in almost every major shade on the color wheel. They look just like they do in the bottle when applied with enough coats.

Staying Power: I will say these polishes do have a tendency to chip and smear easily so a top coat is a definite MUST. We like Seche Vite’s Dry Fast Top Coat.
